Illusion...
All of us must have heard this saying that "everything is maya". If you have not heard it before, you have now heard it. So what is this maya? How does we make sense of it? Is it very complicated? I see everything as real and then why it is said everything is maya? These are some of the questions that keep coming up in my mind. I am sure all those are following a spiritual path must have heard this at one point or other.
I have also been thinking about it. So here is my version. If you have the eyes to see electrons, what will you in this world? Will you see any object? If you have the ears to hear sounds that are 1 million times smaller than the smallest noise, what will you hear? If you did not have ears or the sense of hearing what sounds will you hear? How do you know whether something is hot or cold? Are you seeing my point? So everything that you see in this universe is relative. There is no absolute reality in whatever we perceive. That is why it is said that whatever our senses perceive is a dream. Then what is the reality? Only thing you can say is there is a perceiver. That is true. You can not say your are not. You are there to perceive. But you don't know really the perception is true or not.
If you see this point, then you will attach less and less importance to the sense objects. Still you see, but wont see, hear but wont hear, feel but wont feel. Next thing is to shift your focus to the perceiver, the existence of which can not be denied......
