Have you seen the lamp post ?

Have you seen the lamp post outside your house? What a question. huh? But it is not. Most of us have not seen the obvious. Spiritual life is like that. We are not seeing the obvious. To see the obvious mind has to enter into a silent space in which it can see things as they are, hear sounds as they are. When there is gap in the incessant noise that is going on inside us, we will start seeing the obvious. Consider yourself lucky if you notice the lamp post outside your house. Then you have entered a silent space inside you.

Normally the things need to be big enough to create a silence inside you - Deep love, Loud noise, Beautiful scenery, nice music - All these creates a silent space inside us or it forces the noise machine to be silent. When the noise machine is silent, you know who you are and the peace will follow...
