Just open your eyes and see the truth. Stop getting deceived by stories and images. See what is truth and what is imgination.
One analogy that I like is that of electricity. The same electricity powers various eletrical and electronic instruments. It appears as light in a bulb, as images in a TV, a program in a computer. God or the universe is the electricity in the various instruments, that are our bodies. When we stop identifying ourselves as the instruments, we see the eletricity and with that comes a deeper understanding of our life.
What happens when we see ourselves as the electricity? We stop bothering too much about instruments. Whatever to be done with the instruments will be done and then the instrument gets destroyed. However the electricity remains.
