Intensity of Prayer..

This is a very personal experience that I had a few days ago. Me and my wife were fighting about a certain issue. I was angry, getting upset and was completely furious. I was also concerned about money. In short, I was completely tied to the Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha,Mad and Malsarya.

With whatever awareness I had, I have seen these feelings arise in me and then dropping. Sometimes the awareness allowed me to be an observer. At other times, the feelings pulled me down to the misery. Finally in the evening, I decided to go for Long Kriya. During the Kriya, I felt an intense desire to surrender all my feelings. I intensely prayed to Gurudev and told him please take these away from me. I don't need these sufferings with me anymore. At that instant, I felt a bright light on the right side of me and suddenly all the feelings were wiped away from me. An intense feeling of love and peace filled in me. I felt so happy and ever more grateful to my Gurudev, who took away all my little mindedness and brought true love to my heart.

This experience taught me two lessons - My Guru is with me always and secondly the success in the path is based on the intensity of your longing. If you are true from heart and have the intense longing, then the Divine can not wait, but come to you...
