Why So much for the courses?
Good morning. I am sure the heading must have raised two kind of response. One set must be thinking - Who are you to question it? Guruji decides everything. Some of them have the same question at the back of their minds. In the path, it is important to clear the doubts so that you can have the 100% faith in the Guru and the Path.
The other set feels that there is some one who is agreeing with their view point.
First of all, I know that Guruji will do only the best thing for every one. For that matter, he is with us and how can he do anything that is not good for us? There are a couple of ways paying money for the courses that helps the devotees.
1. What is the mantra for dispassion? What is that we are most attached? Name it? - Is not money one of the most important? By offering and paying for the spiritual courses, we are actually able to give up, what our mind foolishly assumes as ours. So it is a good way for us to let go off our attachments to money. Donating money to temple, Charity etc are done with this understanding. The divine mother who is feeding the entire universe needs "your" money to support her activities? Since when you started having your own that IS SEPARATE FROM THE UNIVERSE? IF you have done the DSN, remember the freedom. See yourself right now. Can you exist separate from the universe?
2. What is the biggest impediment to our spiritual growth - One could possibly say it is ego. Because, if there is no ego, then there is no spiritual growth, no bondage and nothing. So when you try to bring people into taking courses, you are actually clearing your ego as well. The harder the task, bigger the understanding that " I am not the doer". However, one need to be committed to the path and have the unwavering faith in what Guru says.
3. By paying higher amount, you are actually paying off some of your Karmic Debts. Gurudev, who is the embodiment of Love, is indirectly and directly taking care all of us. How this happens is when you pay more, the money is actually spend for good causes - Includes supporting and feeding poor children, expenses for Art of Living teachers etc. Imagine, the money that you paid actually spend for Guruji's plane ticket - What better way can that money be spend?
